A Promise (2013 film)

A Promise is a French drama romance film directed by Patrice Leconte and written by Patrice Leconte and Jrme Tonnerre. The story is based on Stefan Zweigs novel Journey into the Past and stars Rebecca Hall, Alan Rickman, Richard Madden, and Maggie Steed. It was screened in the Special Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
